Anders Wedding – 04.02.2022

The 2022 wedding season began with a bang! All the dust and cobwebs that accumulated on me over winter came off in a flurry with 2 weddings in 1 day. The girls I have working for me just look at me with furrowed brows and ask why…? I simply gave them my best Cheshire cat smile back and said why not?

Morgan and Erinn wanted to go non-traditional, and all I have to say is kudos to you. I am not one to follow in line very well, so I love it when folks think outside the box. They didn’t want the traditional reception supper. Instead, they opted to have the food truck set up outside the hall in the early evening so their guests could come and go as they pleased.

We served Beef Bahn Mi Sandwiches, Mexican quesadillas and taco salad in a bag without the bag. For some reason, there wasn’t a small taco bag to be found anywhere in Saskatchewan last April. Nonetheless, we had a ton of smiling faces coming to the truck to try some food and many coming back for a try of something else. It was such a fun way to end the evening. Even though they were standing out in a blizzard (only in Saskatchewan, am I right?), we were still able to meet so many amazing people.

Morgan and Erinn’s wedding was a breath of fresh air, and they were such a lovely couple to work with. Thank you so very much for letting me be a teeny little part of your day.
